We’re excited to announce that we are hosting our first inaugural Wine and Waterfalls Weekend! We're also happy to be partnering with REI!

Wine and Waterfalls Weekend is a fun and exciting space for a much needed breath of fresh air in the outdoors. This campout/glampout weekend is all about having a great time, relaxation, and fostering sisterhood with other Outdoorsy Black Women.

Sponsored by REI and created by Outdoorsy Black Women. “Wine and Waterfalls Weekend” will give both first time and seasoned campers the opportunity to learn from each other, connect with other Outdoorsy Black Women and create deeper connections with their inner outdoorswoman.

What is Wine and Waterfalls Weekend?

Wine and Waterfalls Weekend is an all inclusive outdoor retreat experience that offers a variety of accommodations based on guests comfort levels, from “Do-it-Yourself” tent camping, to more comfortable Cabin or “Glamping” options with all necessary gear provided and ready for you upon arrival. This 3 day, 2 night retreat will cultivate community, ignite friendships and provide a safe space for Outdoorsy Black Women to soak in the serenity of all Mother Nature has to offer. This event will be held, rain or shine.

Also, we know it’s Mother’s Day weekend! You’re welcome to come with your daughter/mom or without, lol. Don’t worry the event will be over in time to spend time with family on that Sunday if you choose to lol.

While we’re all excited and ready to have a great time, CDC recommended covid-19 safety protocols will be followed and enforced. Please visit our FAQ section below for more details.

  1. Oh my! sounds so lovely. I don’t think that I’ll be able to go. My daughter is due at the end of April and I’m her doula as her hubby is away for Navy training. I’m hoping to attend an event later this summer!!!!

  2. Ohh I see you weren’t playing @Lauren!!! Super excited to see you booked your glamping spot. I’m happy you’ll be joining us. Can’t wait to meet you. 💜

  3. Hey ladies! @Coop33 @Storm_Moves @IndigoMoon @L.A.Lightfoot @Nika-2021 @Lauren @Asia I know you’ll all be traveling and flying in for Wine & Waterfalls Weekend. If anyone is interested in carpooling from the airport to the lodge, reach out to each other 🙂

      1. LOL!!! Nothing wrong with that, that’s one reason I wanted to offer the different variety for this event. We have some newbies and some who are avid campers and hopefully those who are new will be inspired to try it again. Either way this is going to be an AMAZING weekend! I’m just as excited as y’all. 💃🏿

    1. Girl I saw it the first day! I was tryin to get my girl to come with me and I wasted valuable time…needless to say by the time I made it back, I was like what? 3 spots left 😂. I’m so glad I’m in and I don’t mind a bit cause I’m used to all kinds of camping. It’s all good to me😁. See you soon!

      1. YES!!! I’m sure after all the pics and videos, your girl will join us next time lol. I’m happy you made it back in time! Also thank you for supporting the community 🙂

          1. Absolutely! I’m still learning new things each day but honestly, I’m loving it. We’ll definitely dig in more soon!
